The next project is also from MyOutdoorPlans, com. I really think this wood shed project stands out through it simplicity and super large storage capacity. As you can see in the image, this shed is very basic but I like the concept and the main idea is to keep the costs down. This shed would be ideal if you want to store large logs, such as for drying them a few years before splitting them to firewood. MORE >>

My main complaint is that it took forever to be scheduled for construction - like 2-3 months. Once it got here, the guy put it up in about 6 hours. The shed itself seems solid but the walls are pretty thin. Overall it's good quality, though - worth paying the extra money for a solid, good looking wood shed versus the ugly metal ones at Lowe's. On a side note, if you're going to build your own foundation, don't trust the specs they send you - my installer put the 4x4s on in the opposite direction that the specs said. They will just lay the 4x4s on the ground so if you want something different, you can make a cement foundation or set up the posts like I did (cement blocks with wooden blocks on top).
